138 24th June 2016 - UK to leave EU

Just a marker in time for today's post.

Today the 24th June 2016 has seen the voting counted on yesterday's vote in the UK on the decision to remain in the EU or to leave.

The UK has voted 52% Leave and 48% Remain meaning that the UK WILL be Leaving the EU.

There has been some very significant areas voting hugely opposite to the general vote with all of Scotland voting remain, huge swathes of London and my own Cambridgeshire with votes over 70% to remain.

There is now going to be a 2 year process to make the arrangements to leave but sadly already the pound has fallen to almost a 30 year low and things like the FTSE 100, oil price and house prices are looking at risk.

Whether you voted Leave or Remain I think we are all united in hoping that things will get better as we are now set on this course for good or bad.
